Scrubs Buy

I need to buy solid-colored "surgical" scrubs for school. Is the difference the placement in pockets, the fabric, or something else? I'm a female so it's hard to find ladies-fit scrubs that aren't labeled as nursing scrubs.

hello,i'm looking to buy nice looking affordable uniform scrubs online,for my nursing facility job,something with pretty colors….any suggestions??

Hands down, Tafford. Wal-mart has some OK stuff, but everyone gets scrubs there and they're quality is worse and usually cost more.

Allheart has some decent prices, but their customer service is terrible! My friend just had a problem with her order, and they wont even answer the phones to help her. She wasted her money there.

Well I live in the NY, USA as far as uniforms go that is really tricky… nurses for example wear certain colors depending on the hospitals preference and dept. they work in.

If you are a CNA or LPN and work in a nursing home, most of them let you wear patterns, just like some nurses in the children's wards can wear in the hospital. (that's why you see so many scrubs with teddy bears and holiday patterns around)

Physical therapists usually have their own practise outside the hospital they might not even have (or use) their uniform. In the mid 90's I had to go to a physical theropist office and he would wear slacks and a collared dress shirt.

Specialty doctors usually just have a white lab coat over their clothes. which should be proffessional attire.

Generally though, the color everyone expects is white for patient care units and green for surgicals.
