I wear white nurses uniforms for work they tend to get yellow after ware,?

I do not use clorox because that makes them yellow faster with drying..is there I dye for white to make them snowey white again they are perfectaly good just getting yellow.
I do change them every day and I do not dry them on hi heat.Oxiclean does not make them whiter.
Try something like "Mrs. Stewart's Liquid Bluing" I found it at the grocery store next to the laundry bleach products. Here's what the label says: "White fabric turns yellow or gray with age and repeated washings. Bluing restores the sparkling whiteness. Works on synthetics as well as natural fabrics without harming fibers like bleach can."

You could try the 'Bleach for the Unbleachables'.

Bleach will turn polyester or blends a dirty yellow. Get some
Oxyclean and soak the uniforms as the directions say. Once
or twice and your uniforms will look new.

The yellow is from your sweat. try changing uniforms everyday

Dont use cheap bleach. They are not all the same.

Your laundry soap could be causing the uniforms to yellow, try using only woolite to wash them and hang dry.
They sell a product made my Rits the company that makes cloths dye. (Wal-Mart) it`s for whites only. I will make whites whiter. Soak your uniforms in it overnight and then finishing washing and rinsing the next morning. (Rit Dye Fabric Treatment - Powder Whitener & Brightener 1oz

Whenever you can hang them in the sun all day. The sun is a natural bleach. Years ago thats the only way ppl had to make their and keep their cloths whites. Nurses always had white white uniforms all the time.

Hello,
I use my regular clorox and pour some clorox color bleach (detergent too, of course) in the washing machine…let some water mix in with it then add your clothes… this works REALLY well on our socks and t-shirts. I found this by trial and error, as I hate yellow-whites too.
